 - Kate MullinsAge: 24 Occupation: Photography Studio Manager Residence: Herne Bay, Auckland Relevant Qualifications: Bachelor of Fine Arts (painting), Elam, Auckland University Kate has established herself as an accomplished painter having won numerous awards for her work at Elam, including the Senior Prize in Painting in 1999 and 2000. Much of her work has also featured in exhibitions including Christmas Special (2001), 100x100, Pitch White and Blue Guitar (all 2000). Kate also placed first in the 7th form division of the Mairangi Arts Centre North Shore Secondary School Art Competition and was a semi-finalist in the Nokia Art Awards in 2000. Kate aspires to make a living as a full-time painter and is currently investigating process-based art. Cows in Auckland |
