She was initially designed as a creature of the night, dressed to the glittering nines in her designer evening cape, evening make-up around her gorgeous, sexy eyes and an elegant feather accessory on her neck. A classic and sophisticated look for a well heeled, professional, urban cow. Medium: Fibreglass base, glass fragments, silicone adhesive, acrylic paint and goose feathers. Technical: Crystal cow is covered in five layers of underpaint applied in a stipple technique with a sea sponge. Dow Corning silicone supplied by Blackwoods is the adhesive medium to which the glass fragments have been applied. Non crystal areas are painted with Resene acrylic colour and glazed with Resene gloss varnish.
